March 2018

New layout, new lines!

Our shop is now even more wonderful after a spring refit. Pop in to see the latest additions to our exciting range:

  • Prosecco – perfect for Easter celebrations and only £8 a bottle
  • Fresh meat – chicken, beef mince and braising steak, pork chops, sausages and bacon – all locally raised
  • Honey skin and hair care products – made in the village! A beautiful present for someone special

Love local, shop local……why wait?

Village shop

Welcome to our community hub, the West Tytherley Village Shop

The Shop is also a Bank!
Do remember that the post office also provides most day-to-day banking functions through its partnership with Lloyds TSB. You can obtain cash (no transaction charge), deposit cheques, etc.

You can have your prescriptions delivered from the pharmacy to our shop.
This is particularly useful for those on repeat prescribing as you can order your medicines using your surgery’s online ordering facility.
If you haven’t used the online service, you will need to “sign up” at the surgery first.

Volunteers Welcome!
We are slowly extending the opening hours for the shop thanks to a group of volunteers. Can you help?
If you could offer just two hours each month (on days to suit you) it will make a huge difference to the shop’s finances. At the moment, the volunteers add an additional four hours opening over Saturday and Sunday, and an extra two hours to Friday evening. As more people come forward, we will extend weekday evening hours to 7pm so we’re open when most people are returning from work.
