ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Minutes of the Annual General Meeting of West Tytherley & Frenchmoor Parish Council held on 8 May 2006 at 1900h in King Edward’s Hall, West Tytherley

1. Present: Councillors A.Bowditch (Chairman); T.Mousley (Vice-Chairman); L.Bowditch; S.Dowding; J.Guy; D.Rimmington; and D.Lyon (Clerk) plus Councillors M.Woodhall (HCC)) and N.Whiteley (TVBC) and 37 members of the public.

3. Minutes of the Annual General Meeting held on 9 May 2005

These were signed by the Chairman, Councillor A.Bowditch, at the monthly meeting of the Parish Council held on 13 June 2005.

4. Matters Arising None

5. Election of Chairman

It was proposed by Mr Guy and seconded by Mr Dowding that Mr Bowditch be elected Chairman. The proposal was carried nem. con. Mr Bowditch then signed a Declaration of Acceptance of Office.

6. Election of Vice-Chairman

It was proposed by Mr Guy and seconded by Mr Dowding that Mr Mousley be elected Vice-Chairman. The proposal was carried nem. con. Mr Mousley then signed a Declaration of Acceptance of Office.

7. Appointment of Parish Clerk

David Lyon was confirmed as Parish Clerk

8. Chairman’s Annual Report

Mr Bowditch presented the Chairman’s Annual Report for the period April 2005 to March 2006. A copy of this Report is annexed to these Minutes.

There being no other business the Chairman closed the meeting at 1930h
