St Peter's Church is brick and flint, and although not built until 1833, looks earlier Georgian. The Victorians altered the windows so that they were more in keeping and added the stone chancel. There is an unusual west gallery and a complex Purbeck marble font, early medieval, from the earlier church. A memorial to members of the Baring family is by the entrance porch, which is a very large, flamboyant gesturing angel. The church can be found at the southern end of the village main street.
