The Tytherley 10K Run
There is no 10k run in 2011. It will take place in 2012 provided that the organisers receive sufficient help from the rest of us. If you are willing to help out on the day, please contact us and we'll pass on your name and telephone number to the organisers. 2010 results are here.
King Edward's Hall

History
King Edward's Hall was built in the 1910s by the Singer family who had purchased the Norman Court estate from the Barings. It originally offered a lending library and community rooms. Later, a billiard table was installed. The hall was given to the village immediately after World War II when the estate was broken up and sold. It was a condition of the gift that it became a registered charity. Dances and events were held weekly.
At the heart of our village
These days King Edward's hall is still an important part of village life. It is the host to many community events and its success is due in great part to the work of the hall committee and their "volunteer" helpers!
You can hire!
The hall is available for private hire. Sheridan Allman has sent these photos showing the hall interior ready for a wedding reception (click on the thumbnail for a bigger picture).
The hall is available for private functions at very competitive rates. Tables, chairs, crockery and cutlery can be hired. Download a booking form here and please contact Jane Larner (01794 341113) for details of availability and for further information.
