Andy Bowditch kindly sent me details about the BBC project to recreate a modern equivalent of The Domesday Book. (This was in the 80s and just before the Internet really exploded onto the scene). It has now been updated so it provides a good picture of how WT has changed over the past twenty-five years. You can find it here.

A big "thank you" to Barry Whitlock for the loan of his copy of the sales prospectus for the sale of the Norman Court Estate. Warning!! It is a 6Mb .pdf file but worth a look. It makes fascinating reading.
