About the Village
West Tytherley is a compact village with a good mixture of timber framed cottages, Victorian cottages and houses and more recent, mostly brick, buildings.
The parish council of West Tytherley is also responsible for Frenchmoor which at only 379 acres, is the smallest Parish, by area, in the Test Valley. In the Parish of Frenchmoor is the site of a deserted village and also an old well called the Devil's Hole.
