It was proposed by LB and seconded by AM that these be signed by the Chairman as a true record of the meeting.

2.1. AM
said that he objected to HCC putting the new village pavement in without first
consulting the Parish Council. The clerk
was asked to write to HCC asking for the Parish Council to be notified, in
writing, of any future works. Action

9.1. AB confirmed that the weekend football course was cancelled due to lack of interest.

& Footpaths
10.1. AM reported that he had met with Paul Walsh, from Hampshire Highways, to discuss the possibility of putting in a lay-by in the grass verge near the school. He confirmed that this would not be possible because it would obscure the sight line at the village junction. AM reported that Paul Walsh advised the council to have ‘dragons teeth’ installed at this point to stop parking on this corner; the Council agreed and AM said he would write to Paul Walsh and ask him to go ahead. Action AM
10.2.
It was agreed to purchase three sets of the ‘Definitive
Public Rights of Way’ maps from Hampshire County Council. The Clerk would order
these. Action Clerk
