My husband and I are planning, and looking forward to, a visit West Tytherley in May of this year (2007), hence I have been browsing on the internet to find details of some places I used to live in England in the late fifties and sixties. To my amazement I found Brian Crossett enquiring about my family. My parents Peter and Joyce Reeks, myself Loraine, and younger brother Alan lived at 10 North Lane and then 8 North Lane during those years. Dad did indeed work at Rief and Sons, and yes we all migrated to Queensland, Australia, and are still here, alive and well! We all have fond memories of our life in the village and of the sawmill.
