Isaac Budden was baptised on 6 Jan 1815 in West Tytherley, the son of James and Mary Budden
James Budden had married Mary Gray on 26 Dec 1802 in St Peter's East Tytherley (Mary was the daughter of Joseph and Mary and was baptised in East Tytherley on 29 Mar 1778)

In the 1841 Census the family is listed as Isaac and Mary with George (age 3) and Mary (age 1)
In the 1851 Census Isaac cannot be found and Maria is listed as a Widow living in a cottage in West Tytherley. With her are her children: George (age 13 – Shepherd boy); Charles (age 11 – Plough Boy): Martha (age 9); William (age 4); Harriet (age 2). Maria is listed as having been born in West Dean.
Maria was baptised in West Dean on 30 Mar 1817 daughter of Henry and Hannah England (Henry married Hannah Tubb in West Dean on 16 Mar 1814).
