However you get here, take your time and enjoy some of the most beautiful countryside in Southern England. Please remember that many cyclists use our narrows lanes. Please, please be patient. When you arrive, keep a good lookout for the fifty children aged under seven that may not have as much road sense as you or me!

By Train
South West Trains run to:
- Grateley 9.8 miles(main line between London Waterloo, Salisbury and Exeter via Basingstoke)
- Dean 2.2miles(Salisbury to Southampton via Romsey)
- Winchester 17.5 miles(main lines between London, Southampton & Bournemouth via Basingstoke
By Bus
Since October 2012, there is now no through service to Romsey. A new route 37 runs between Salisbury and Lockerely via The Grimsteads and The Dean. There are six buses each weekday and five on Saturdays but please note that the last bus from Salisbury on a Saturday is at 4.05pm!
